Option: Coupling of distance sensor and motor encoder (P-AXIS-00500)

P-AXIS-00500

Option: Coupling of distance sensor and motor encoder

Description

Both the distance sensor and the axis motor encoder can be used as an extension. The inverse coupling of the two encoders (motor, distance) means that motor oscillations are not transmitted to distance control and this can reduce any tendency to oscillate. In addition, the position lag of the axes can be included in a programmed motion in the control direction.

The following modes can be parameterised:

  • OFF: No coupling
  • ON: Coupling of motor encoder and distance sensor active.
  • ON_LAG_FREE: Reduced oscillation taking position lag with 0-100% feedforward control into consideration.

Note: For this mode, the following parameters must also be correctly set in the axis list of the axes involved:

- P-AXIS-00099

- P-AXIS-00191

- P-AXIS-00833
