Manual mode
The manual mode (HB) enables an external controlling of individual axes with physical elements of manual operation (handwheel, inching keys, joy stick). During running interpolation, i.e. during the execution of the NC-program, the operator is able to add additional set values to the path. The following manual operation modes are possible.
- Handwheel function : Any desired path with any desired velocity.
- Continuous jog mode: Any desired path with parameterable velocity.
- Incremental jog mode: Pre-specified path with parameterable velocity
- Interruptible jog mode: Like incremental jog mode, however, traverse
interruption possible.
These manual operation modes can be activated from the control panel. The corresponding parameters such as for example resolution, speed, jogging distance etc. are programmed by appropriate NC commands ("#SET"-commands, "G"-commands ). The manual mode enables a centralized management of manual operation axes, manual operation elements and parameters.
The current manual operation mode and the axis controlled by a physical manual operation element can be changed anytime. A physical manual operation element can control several axes in several NC-channels at the same time. One axis can only be controlled by one single manual operation element and can only run in one manual operation mode at the same time.
