Process image

The process image contains a process data object for each input and each output.

The designation of each process data object contains the name of the socket and the pin number of the corresponding input or output. See Connector overview.

Process image 5: Status

  • Process image 6: Underrange
This bit is TRUE if the nominal measuring range was undershot. See Measuring range monitoring.
  • Process image 7: Overrange
This bit is TRUE if the nominal measuring range was exceeded.
    See Measuring range monitoring.
  • Process image 8: Limit 1
Status bit of the Limit value monitoring.
  • Process image 9: Limit 2
Status bit of the Limit value monitoring.
  • Process image 10: Error
This bit is TRUE if the measured value violates an error threshold. In the factory setting, the error thresholds are identical to the full scale value of the technical measuring range.
In addition, this bit is signaled by LED "A" lighting up red.
  • Process image 11: Sync error
This bit is only relevant in the "Distributed Clocks" synchronization mode.
It is TRUE if a synchronization error has occurred in the preceding EtherCAT cycle.
  • Process image 12: TxPDO State
This bit is TRUE if the measured value could not be read due to an internal error. That means that if this bit is TRUE, the current measured value "Value" is invalid.
  • Process image 13: TxPDO Toggle
The box inverts this bit every time it updates the measured value "Value" in the process data.

Process image 14: Value

The current measured value.
Data type: INT.
Data format: ajustable (factory setting: Signed Integer)

„DO“: Process data of the digital outputs

Process image 15:

Process image 16: Output

Digital output. Data type: BIT.

„AO“: Process data of the analog outputs

Process image 17:

Process image 18: Analog output

Analog output. Data type: INT.
