ModuleGroup | "PWM" (0x202199, 0x282199)
The pulse width and frequency of a 24 VDC binary signal with a maximum load capacity of 0.5 A can be changed via the digital pulse width modulation output (PWM).
The outputs can be parameterized as follows:
- Specify pulse width (PWM output)
for changing the duty cycle, pulse-pause ratio or
of the duty cycle (TON/TOFF) [0 ... 100%] - Specify period duration (PWM period)
as a setting for the output frequency [20 Hz ... 25 kHz]
The resolution of the output signal depends on the frequency or period duration setting (for typical values, see table Resolution depending on the frequency setting). - Set safe state on bus errors
- Synchronize output when using two PWM channels
The valid value range of the output signal corresponds:
- min. pulse duration TON: 750 ns typ, min. pause duration TOFF: 500 ns typ,
- min. output frequency: 20 Hz, max. output frequency: 25 kHz
The process data and setting objects depend on the configuration. The available process data and settings objects are shown below depending on the configuration.
