Notice Wiring Digital inputs:

1. 3-wire digital sensors must be used.
2. To ensure that the digital inputs function correctly, the corresponding ground connection (terminal point 9/16) must be connected in addition to the 24 V signal (terminal point 1/8).
3. The sensor power supply must be connected separately.

4. connect the cables in accordance with chapter "LVDT connection" / "Half-bridge connection" and

6. Before switching on, observe the instructions for the excitation frequency and excitation voltage!

Setting and activating the excitation frequency and excitation voltage

  • Check the supply to the power contacts (see chapter EL5072 – Diagnostics).
  • Set the excitation frequency index 0x8001:14 "Excitation frequency" and excitation voltage index 0x8001:15 "Excitation voltage" centrally via the first channel. These settings are then valid for both channels.
  • Before switching, make sure that both sensors support the set range!
  • The excitation voltage is switched off in the delivery state and must be switched on by setting index 0x8000:08 "Enable excitation" to TRUE.
