The CP62xx built-in Panel PC series is designed for installation in the front of a control cabinet and represents a powerful platform for use in machine and system engineering.

You can use the panel PC for the following applications, among others:

• various automation and visualization tasks
• wide range of IoT tasks, for example when used as an IoT gateway
• simple HMI applications
• axis control
• short cycle times
• high-volume data handling

The panel PC is available in the following five display sizes, with corresponding resolutions:

• 12-inch (800 x 600) 4:3
• 15-inch (1024 x 768) 4:3
• 19-inch (1280 x 1024) 5:4

In its basic configuration, the device includes the following features:

• 3½-inch motherboard
• Intel^® processor
• DDR4-RAM
• 2½-inch hard disk/SSD
• 1 slot for 2½-inch hard disk/SSD
• 1 slot for CFast
• 24 V DC power supply unit

You can order your device without keys, with function keys, with a numerical keypad or with an alphanumerical keypad. Information on the key functions can be found in chapter 3.5 Key functions.

You can optionally order your device with additional PCIe^® module slots or PCI/PCIe^® plug-in card slots.

The additional module and plug-in card slots change the depth of the backplane cover. With module slots, the depth increases by 30 mm, with the various plug-in card slots by 66 mm.

Figure 1 shows an example of a CP62xx without extension (1), with PCIe^® module slots (2) and with PCI/PCIe^® plug-in card slots (3).
