Interface description
The various devices in the CP39xx-14xx-0010 Control Panel series differ in terms of their interfaces.
The following view illustrates the configuration of the connector panels.

If you have ordered the control panel with a Beckhoff mounting arm adapter, the interfaces are located on the back of the device inside the mounting arm adapter. You must first gain access to the interfaces. The procedure is the same, regardless of whether you have ordered the mounting arm adapter with upwards or downwards orientation. The procedure is shown as an example for the mounting arm adapter facing upwards.
Follow the steps below, as shown in Figure 5:
- 1. Remove the four M4 screws from each of the two side covers.
- 2. Remove the two side covers.
- You now have access to the connection compartment.
