Mounting
The panel PC is installed on the mounting arm system using a mounting arm adapter. At the rear of the panel PC there are four M6 threaded holes spaced 100 x 100 mm apart for installing the mounting arm adapter. If you require a Beckhoff mounting arm adapter for the installation, two ordering options are available for this purpose:

Figure 13 shows the two available mounting arm adapters. Both adapters have a locking screw to prevent rotation. Ordering option 1 has an additional clamping lever for lock the tilt. Both mounting arm adapters can be rotated by +/- 165°. The adapter adapts the Panel PC with a 48 mm circular tube. The permissible tolerance is 0.3 mm.
Regardless of which of the two mounting arm adapters you have chosen, you will have to install the adapters yourself. The procedure is shown below. In both cases, the cable is routed through the mounting arm.

Installing the mounting arm adapter
If you have chosen one of the two mounting arm adapters from Beckhoff referred to above, the installation procedure is the same in both cases. Before the installation you have to decide whether you want to orient the device upwards or downwards (see Fig. 14).
To fasten the mounting arm adapter to the panel PC, follow the steps below, shown in Fig. 15:
- 1. Remove the cover of the mounting arm adapter (section A). For the exact procedure, see chapter 3.2 Interface description.
- 2. Place the mounting arm adapter with the four M6 screws in front of the four M6 threaded holes at the rear side of the panel PC (section B).
- 3. Tighten the four M6 screws with a tightening torque of 6 Nm.
- 4. Replace the cover on the mounting arm adapter.
- You have installed the mounting arm adapter on the panel PC.
A strain relief plate is located inside the mounting arm adapter. You can relocate this according to your requirements.
