Assembly
The panel PC is installed on the mounting arm system using a mounting arm adapter. At the rear of the panel PC there are four M6 threaded holes spaced 100 x 100 mm apart and four M6 threaded holes spaced 70 x 130 mm apart for installing a mounting arm adapter. The following ordering options are available, if you require a Beckhoff mounting arm adapter for the installation:

Figure 16 shows the available mounting arm adapters. It has a locking screw to prevent twisting and a clamping lever with which you can lock the tilt. The mounting arm adapter can be rotated by +/- 165°. The adapter adapts the panel PC with a 48.3 mm circular tube.
You must install the adapter yourself. The procedure is shown below. The cable is routed through the mounting arm.

Installing the mounting arm adapter
If you have chosen the above-mentioned mounting arm adapter from Beckhoff, you must decide before mounting whether you want to align the device upwards or downwards (see Fig. 17).
To fasten the mounting arm adapter to the panel PC, follow the steps below, shown in Fig. 18:
- 1. Remove the cover of the mounting arm adapter (section A). For the exact procedure see chapter 3.2 Interface description.
- 2. Place the mounting arm adapter with the four M6 screws at a distance of 70 x 130 mm in front of the corresponding four M6 threaded holes on the rear side of the panel PC (section B).
- 3. Tighten the four M6 screws with a tightening torque of 6 Nm.
- 4. Replace the cover on the mounting arm adapter.
- You have installed the mounting arm adapter on the panel PC.
A strain relief plate is located inside the mounting arm adapter. You can relocate this according to your requirements.
