Mounting accessories

You have the option of retrofitting extensions such as a handle, a toolboard or a cabinet dome to your panel PC. The following ordering options are available to you.

The handle (1) and the toolboard (2) are mounted on the underside of the panel PC using three M5 screws. Three M5 threaded holes are provided for this purpose (see Fig. 31).

Cabinet dome

The CU8210-M002-0100 cabinet dome was developed for industrial WLAN and mobile communication components. You can use the dome in a working environment that meets the IP65 protection class. The inside of the dome is thus fully protected against accidental extraction, touch, dust and jet water. You can connect the dome to the panel PC via USB.

To be able to mount the cabinet dome to your panel PC, you need the following mounting set:

To mount the cabinet dome on your PC using the mounting set, follow the steps below:

1. Insert the USB cable into the cabinet dome and place it around the mounting bracket at the appropriate location (section A).
2. Loosen the protective cap of the USB interface on the underside of the panel PC. The protective cap is attached to the PC with a wire so that the cap remains with the PC even after unscrewing (section A).
3. Place the mounting bracket with the cabinet dome in front of the cover at the appropriate position and tighten the two M4 screws (section B).

4. Plug the USB cable into the USB interface on the underside of the panel PC.
You have now mounted the panel PC to the cabinet dome.
