Overview

The user interface is divided into different areas, which will be described in more detail below. The following diagram illustrates the different areas.

Menu

Access to Load/Save mechanisms, as well as settings for the user interface and the TwinCAT Target Browser.

Type Explorer

Displays the type system of the currently loaded nodesets. A text box allows to search for nodes.

Models

Displays the Namespaces of the currently loaded nodesets.

Message Viewer

Contains logging information about the currently loaded project.

Node Editor

Displays the attributes of the currently selected node. The attributes of the nodes from both the Type Explorer and the Instance Explorer can be displayed here.

Instance Explorer

Displays the currently configured instances. A text box allows to search for nodes.

The individual areas are arranged in a so-called docked window concept and can be arranged differently depending on user requirements. The windows of the Type, Attribute and Instance Explorer also contain their own toolbar, which can be used to perform actions related to this area. These actions are described in more detail below.
