EL9150, EL9160 - Introduction and Technical Data

Power supply terminals, 230 V AC

EL9150, EL9160 - Introduction and Technical Data 1:

EL9150, EL9160

The EL9150 power supply terminal can be positioned at any location between the input and output terminals, for establishing a further potential group, or for supplying the terminals following on the right in applications with high current load. The E-bus will pass through.

Unlike the EL9150, the EL9160 has diagnostics displayed in the process image.

CAUTION

Danger for persons and equipment!

  • In the project planning of the bus terminal system, observe the different potentials on the power contacts (24 V DC and 230 V AC) and if necessary use potential separation terminals (EL9080) to isolate the potentials!
  • Bring the bus terminal system into a safe, de-energized state before starting installation, disassembly or wiring of the terminal modules!

Process data (EL9160 only)

The EL9160 has a bit width of 1 bit (diagnostic bit for voltage at the power contacts, "PowerOK") in the process image and is represented in the TwinCAT tree as follows:

EL9150, EL9160 - Introduction and Technical Data 3:Fig.15: EL9160 in the TwinCAT tree

If there is no voltage at the power contacts, the corresponding diagnostic bit "PowerOK" is set to FALSE (0).
