The current Interbus configuration from object 0xF800:02 is stored in the EL6740-0010 when 0x65766173 ("evas") is written to index 1010:01. To this end the terminal must be in OP or SAFE-OP state.

Once these settings have been saved, other Interbus configurations are rejected with abort code 0x0026 during transition to SAFE-OP.
