compact: The process data can be represented with 16 bits (compact) or with 32 bits.

Optional PDOs

Optional PDOs, in addition to the main PDO:

• PDO 1 (0x1A05 or 0x1A06): The frequency or the period can be selected as optional PDO 1
• PDO 2 (0x1A07 or 0x1A08): In one of the DC modes a 64 bit or 32 bit timestamp can be selected. The timestamp specifies the time of the last registered increment edge, based on the DistributedClocks system.

The process data are generated from CoE objects 0x6010 (Inputs) and 0x7010 (Outputs) and are described in chapter “Object description and parameterization”.

Process data can be read via CoE but cannot be set. In the following descriptions, the corresponding CoE index is always included as a reference in addition to the name of the process data. Please note that while the input and output process data (0x6xxx/0x7xxx) can be read via the CoE directory, they cannot be set via the CoE directory!
