Configuring IO-Link devices
The configuration of the IO link devices is carried out in the IO link configuration tool. Configure the IO link device as described below.
The IO-Link devices are configured using the IO-Link configuration tool. Configure the IO-Link device as described in the following chapters:
- Prerequisite: an IO-Link master has been added in the Solution Explorer under the “I/O” entry.
- 1. Open the IO-Link configuration tool.
- 2. Include the IODD file of the IO-Link device.
- 3. Assign the devices to the ports

- Configuring a port as a digital input/output
- 4. Removing an IO-Link device from a port
- 5. Activate the IO-Link configuration for the changes to take effect.
