LTE stick under Windows

This chapter describes how to commission the 4G/LTE USB stick under Windows, including driver installation and establishing an active mobile connection. You will learn about the available installation methods, how to set up the SIM PIN and APN, and how to verify a successful setup.

• Driver installation: Via the service package (DriverSetup.exe)
• Alternative: Install the driver directly from the stick, which is recognized as a removable drive. Then, new devices will be installed.
• APN/PIN: Setup with the Beckhoff LTE Stick Tool (enter SIM PIN, add APN); alternatively via AT commands, e.g. via PuTTY.
• Connection: Select Connection via the Windows network icon and click on Connect; depending on the provider, enter additional access data in the browser.
