The procedure for commissioning is described as an example. A different method may be appropriate or necessary, depending on the application of the components.

TwinCAT 3

TwinCAT 3 software is divided into various components.

• TwinCAT 3 development environment, TwinCAT 3 Engineering (XAE), for configuring, programming, and debugging applications.
• The TwinCAT 3 runtime environment TwinCAT 3 Runtime (XAR) is divided into additional function-specific components (base components and functions). The basic components can be extended by functions.
  
  Depending on the product, additional functions may be required!
• Install the software in the required setup version on your target system.
