Handling of drive command position

Description

Both the command position and the actual position of a drive can be handled by the CNC as a drive with linear or modulo coordinate system. By default, processing can be executed depending on the axis type or a specific presetting can be selected. The following settings are available for this.

Default processing of values depending on the selected axis type
TRANSLATOR -> linear processing of command/actual values,
ROTATOR -> modulo processing of command/actual values.

 

When P-AXIS-00123 (mode_cmd_pos) is used with modulo, the permissible encoder range must be parameterised in P-AXIS-00528.
