Toolbox

The toolbox makes all the visualization elements available, which can be added in the visualization editor. The elements are made available in the project via libraries. The selection in the toolbox window depends on the currently active visualization profile.

If the toolbox window is not yet visible, it can be opened in the "View" menu via "Toolbox". The toolbox contains the following categories:

• Common controls
• Basis
• Lamps/switches/bitmaps
• Measuring devices
• Special controls

The corresponding visualization elements are listed with their symbols and names under these categories.

Visualization elements can be inserted in the visualization editor using drag and drop. A plus sign that appears on the cursor symbol while an element is dragged shows that the element can be dropped into the editor window. When the mouse button is released, the element appears in the editor.

An element can also be added in the "Visualization" menu under "Add visualization element". The same range of elements is available here as is shown in the toolbox. If necessary, the visualization menu can be customized via the customize dialog ("Visualization commands" command category), as required.
