Overload LED

On when the voltage at the output terminals is <90% of the set output voltage, or in the event of a short circuit in the output.

On when the unit has switched off due to overtemperature.

The input voltage is always required.

1) In case of overload, the power supply delivers continuous output current for up to 4 seconds. The output is then switched off for about 17 seconds before a new switch-on attempt is automatically made. If the overload persists, output current is supplied for 2 to 4 s and the output is switched off again for 17 s. This cycle is repeated as long as the overload persists. After the overload has been rectified, the device will operate normally.
The red overload LED lights up continuously when the overload current flows continuously. During the 17 s idle time the red LED flashes with a frequency of approx. 1.3 Hz.
