System requirements
- Windows 7 SP1, Windows 10 or Windows 11
- 25 MB free hard disk space
- You need the ADS router. This is included in TC1000, TwinCAT 3 ADS, TX1100 and TwinCAT I/O.
- You need administration rights on your operating system.
Supported products
All Beckhoff Bus Couplers (BK) and Bus Terminal Controllers (BC, BX), produced since October 1996, do support the KS2000 configuration software:
- BK1xxx
- BK2xxx: from EEPROM-Version "BC"
- BK3xxx: from EEPROM-Version "BF"
- BK4xxx: from EEPROM-Version "BC"
- BK5xxx: from EEPROM-Version "BC"
- BK73xx
- BK8xxx: from EEPROM-Version "BC"
- BK9xxx
- BC3100: from EEPROM-Version "B3"
Special functions of the KS2000 configuration software are only supported from a certain firmware version of the bus coupler. You can find more detailed information here.
A sticker on the backside of the bus coupler provides information about its firmware status in the delivery state “x x x x x B K x x - - - - - ”.
