Functional earth via the mounting holes

The mounting holes also serve as connections for the functional earth.

Make sure that the box is grounded with low impedance via both fastening screws.

Functional earth via the supply lines

Starting with hardware version 03, the ⏚ pins 6 of the B17 connectors are directly connected to the mounting holes. Up to hardware version 02, they are connected to the mounting holes via an RC combination.

Connect the functional earth of the ⏚ cores in accordance with the following instructions:

• If the remote station is a device with B17 connector: connect the devices with a pre-assembled cable. See chapter Accessories.
• Otherwise: ground the ⏚ core with low impedance as near as possible to the remote station.
• Leave the cap nuts and housing of the B17 connectors without contact.
