User scaling
The transfer function of the user scaling for the analog outputs is as follows:
| YS = GS * XS + OS | YS : Output value after the user scaling XS : Output value before the user scaling GS : Gain OS : Offset |
Enabling user scaling
The user scaling is disabled in the factory. It can be enabled individually for each channel. To do this, set the corresponding CoE parameter to TRUE:
Connection | CoE object | Parameter | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
X01 | 8140hex | AO Settings Ch.1 | 01 | Enable user scale |
X02 | 8150hex | AO Settings Ch.2 | 01 | Enable user scale |
X05 | 8160hex | AO Settings Ch.3 | 01 | Enable user scale |
X06 | 8170hex | AO Settings Ch.4 | 01 | Enable user scale |
Setting the scaling coefficients
Set the scaling coefficients via the following CoE parameters:
Connection | CoE object | Parameter | ||
---|---|---|---|---|
X01 | 8140hex | AO Settings Ch.1 | 11hex | User scale offset |
12hex | User scale gain | |||
X02 | 8150hex | AO Settings Ch.2 | 11hex | User scale offset |
12hex | User scale gain | |||
X05 | 8160hex | AO Settings Ch.3 | 11hex | User scale offset |
12hex | User scale gain | |||
X06 | 8170hex | AO Settings Ch.4 | 11hex | User scale offset |
12hex | User scale gain |
