Measured value filter
Notice | |
Interactions with other parameters Certain combinations of settings can cause settings to become ineffective.
|
- If you set a sampling rate not equal to the factory setting of 4000 Hz and one or more measured value filters are enabled, invalid measured values may be output.
- If the measured value resolution is not set to the factory setting of 1 mg/LSB , the measured value filters have no function. The settings described below have no effect.
![]() | Recommendation: Do not use the measured value filter There is already a low-pass filter in the signal path before the measured value filter, which pre-processes the measured values sufficiently. Beckhoff recommends using only this upstream low-pass filter for filtering. The cut-off frequency is set by adjusting the sampling rate, see chapter Sampling-Rate (ODR). |
Each acceleration axis has a digital measured value filter that can be individually enabled and configured.
In the factory setting, the measured value filters of all acceleration axes are disabled.
The measured value filters influence the EtherCAT synchronization mode of the device:
- All filters disabled: "Synchron" synchronization mode.
- One or more filters enabled: "Free Run" synchronization mode.
