Notice | |
Incorrect signal levels due to electromagnetic interference If the input filter is disabled or the filter time is low, the inputs can be susceptible to electromagnetic interference. Under the influence of electromagnetic interference, a false signal level can be detected.
|
Pin | Function | Wire color 1) |
---|---|---|
1 | US1 … US8 2) | brown |
2 | Input B | white |
3 | GNDS | blue |
4 | Input A | black |
5 | FE (Functional earth) | gray |
1) The core colors apply to M12 cables from Beckhoff: ZK2000-5xxx, ZK2000-6xxx, ZK2000-7xxx
2) Sensor supply: The output voltages US1 … US8 are branched off from the supply voltage US. Each output is independently short-circuit proof.
Connection examples
Status LEDs
Each M12 socket has two status LEDs.
Light signal of a status LED | Meaning |
---|---|
green illuminated | The input signal is logical high. |
red illuminated | Wire breakage. See chapter Wire break detection (EP1839-0022, EP1839-0042). |
both LEDs light up red | Two possibilities:
