Note on the placement of passive terminals in the bus terminal block

EtherCAT Terminals that do not take part in active data exchange within the bus terminal block are referred to as passive terminals. These terminals can be recognized because they do not consume power from the E-bus. To ensure optimal data exchange, no more than two passive terminals may be connected directly to each other!
