Measured value calculation: calibration, adjustment, scaling
As can be seen in the data flow, the measured value can be manipulated computationally in two places:
- In the calibration object
- The manufacturer calibration takes place in the manufacturer part (password protected). The Beckhoff adjustment on the production side ensures that the channel complies with the device specification.
- In the user part, the user can enter their own gain/offset values.
- In the scaling object
User scaling, index 0x80n00:01
The user scaling is enabled via index 0x80n00:01, the parameterization via indices
- 0x80n00:11 offset user scaling
- 0x80n00:12 gain user scaling
User calibration, index 0x80n00:18, 0x80n00:17
The user calibration is enabled via index 0x80n0:0A, the parameterization via indices
- 0x80n00:17 user offset calibration
- 0x80n00:18 user gain calibration
Manufacturer calibration, index 0x80xF
The manufacturer calibration is enabled via index 0x80n0:0B.
Beckhoff reserves the right to parameterize via the device-specific indices of object 0x80nF (see CoE object directory) (see Note Producer Codeword).
![]() | Producer codeword Beckhoff reserves the right to perform basic adjustment of the terminals. The producer codeword is therefore not public. |
