Input “Digital input”
The terminal provides the input “Digital input”. The function is described in chapter Input “Digital input”.
The input is 5 V compatible.

Wiring of the input “Digital input” In the terminal the input “Digital input” is internally connected to 5 V via a pull-up resistor (1 kΩ). The encoder output must actively pull the signal against GND. The resistance must be dimensioned so that it is less than 120 Ω. External power supply is not recommended. If an external supply is used, the maximum permitted voltage is 5 V against GND. |
