The following diagnostic options are available:

• Overflow and underflow of the counter limits
• RS422 - wire break detection and short-circuit detection (open circuit)
• Monitoring of the encoder operating voltage
• Diagnostics for the input “Digital input”
• Plausibility check
• Filter frequency overshoot
