Optional interfaces

You can extend the industrial PC beyond the basic configuration by additional interfaces. The following PCIe^® compact modules are available for this purpose:

• USB 3.0 (order identifier: C9900-E305)
• Ethernet RJ45 (order identifier: FC9082)
• Ethernet RJ45 (order identifier: FC9282)
• RS232 (order identifier: C9900-E306)
• RS422 (order identifier: C9900-E313)
• RS485 (order identifier: C9900-E312)

Further modules are available on request. Any modules that are ordered are installed ex factory. Only Beckhoff PCIe^® compact modules are compatible with the device. The use of other Beckhoff modules or modules from other suppliers is prohibited.

If you bought the device with the basic configuration, you can extend it later by the modules mentioned above. To do this, replace the blank covers with the modules by undoing the two Torx TX8 screws of the covers and tightening them again after inserting the modules.

You can also add a graphics card with MXM interface to your device. The following options are available:

• C9900-A201
• C9900-A205
• C9900-A206

The graphics cards can only be ordered ex factory. The C9900-A201 and C9900-A205 graphics cards do not have DisplayPort outputs. The C9900-A206 graphics card also contains three DisplayPort outputs, which are situated the front.

The C9900-A201 and C9900-A205 options have the TCC (Tesla Compute Cluster) mode activated ex factory. This mode is deactivated ex factory for the C9900-A206 option. The graphic output of the graphics card is deactivated when the TCC mode is activated in order to optimize the graphic output exclusively for computing tasks.
