USB
The industrial PC has two USB interfaces (X105, X106). They are used to connect peripheral devices with USB interfaces.
The following table shows the interface assignment based on the device generation:
Device generation | USB interfaces |
|---|---|
C6015-0010 | 1x USB 2.0 (X105) 1x USB 3.0 (X106) |
C6015-0020 | 2x USB 3.0 (X105, X106) |
C6015-0030 | 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2 (X105, X106) |
In the case of the device generation -0010, the two USB interfaces each supply up to 500 mA of current. In the case of the device generations -0020 and -0030, the two USB interfaces each supply up to 900 mA of current.
The interfaces are electronically protected. Only pins 1 to 4 and the shield are relevant for USB 2.0.
