Serious injuries due to damage to the mains choke

Damage may result in hazardous voltages being present on the housing or exposed components and can lead to serious or even fatal injuries.

• During transport and storage, protect the mains choke against damage
• Comply with storage and transportation conditions

Damage due to non-compliance with transport and storage conditions

Failure to observe the conditions may result in damage to the mains chokes and void the warranty.

Damage due to moisture

Condensation can form during transport in cold weather or in the event of extreme temperature differences. If the mains choke is not completely dry, condensed water can lead to a short circuit when switching on, damaging the mains choke and the system.

• Make sure that there is no moisture on and around the mains choke
• Slowly adjust the temperature to room temperature
• Switch on the mains choke only when it is dry
