Install additional software / drivers

Please note the following when installing further software on a Beckhoff CE device:

• The default installation path is normally “\Windows”, but this folder is not persistently present on the Beckhoff CE device.
• In order to keep files persistent, please use the folder \hard disk\system.

Necessary registry settings:

If the software requires further registry keys, we recommend placing a registry file with the settings in the folder \hard disk\RegFiles.

The registry files are imported into the device registry with a double click.
