Diagnostics via PROFIBUS

The diagnostics via PROFIBUS is configured as follows. The module at slot 1 is always the CtrlStatus DWORD module. The first EtherCAT Terminal from your hardware configuration is therefore always at slot 2.

For the diagnostics the currently projected position is important, not the actual position in the hardware configuration.

Example:
An EtherCAT Terminal, which in the actual hardware configuration is connected in fourth position after the EK3100, has a problem. In this case the diagnostics would indicate the error at slot 5, since slot 1 is always assigned the CtrlStatus DWORD module.
