Position of the seal
![]() | Example illustration using a straight module The illustration shows the position of the seal as an example on an AT2000-0250 module. The position of the seal is identical for all modules. |
The seals must be inserted with the correct side on the module so that the modules can be mounted correctly and the tightness and accuracy can be achieved.
The seal converges on one side. The narrower side [1] of the seal must face the outside of the module. The flat side [2] of the seal must be inserted into the groove of the module.
The wide side of the seal [1] must be inserted into the module [2] so that the correct distance between the modules can be achieved when installing the modules.
If the seal [3] is inserted into the module [4] with the narrow side, the correct distance between the modules cannot be achieved. This causes the air gap between the modules to become too large, resulting in a lack of tightness. Too great a distance between the modules reduces the accuracy of the mover positioning.
