2-channel contactor switch-off for one module

The contactor switch-off can be designed either as a frequent switch-off or as a sporadic switch-off. Frequent switch-off is suitable for use at manual workstations or for single-part switch-off, for example. The sporadic switch-off, with a maximum rate of 50 cycles per day, can be used, for example, in the event of an emergency stop of the entire machine.

Beckhoff always recommends using a 2-channel contactor switch-off Depending on the risk analysis, it is also possible to use a 1-channel contactor switch-off in individual cases, for example if the system has a complete enclosure.
