Follow the correct sequence when dismantling the guide rollers

Disassemble the guide rollers from the outside to the inside as described below.

If you disassemble the guide rollers in a different sequence, this may result in damage to the mover and additional time expenditure.

Disassembly 1:
►Pierce the sealing plug [1] and lever it out of the mover housing
Disassembly 2:
►Hold the shoulder bolt [1] of the roller [2] with the angle pin wrench
►Remove nut [3]

Notice

Avoid jamming the shoulder bolt in the mover housing

Pull the shoulder bolt straight out of the mover housing to avoid jamming.

Tilting of the shoulder bolt can result in damage to the mover housing and additional time requirement.

Disassembly 3:
►Pull the shoulder bolt [1] with roller [2] and adjusting washer [3] straight out of the mover housing and remove to the side
►Disassemble the upper guide rollers in the same way

Notice

Avoid jamming the bearing pin in the mover housing

Use a pin punch [+] to push the bearing pin straight out of the mover housing to prevent it from jamming.

Tilting of the bearing pin can result in damage to the mover housing and additional expenditure of time.

Disassembly 4:
►Loosen the set screw [1] with a hexagon bit [+]
►Insert the pin punch [2] through the opening [3] in the mover housing
Disassembly 5:
►Push the bearing pin [1] straight out of the mover housing by pressing the pin punch [2] and remove it to the side
►Remove the roller [3] from the mover housing to the side
►Disassemble the second lower roller in the same way
Disassembly 6:
►Loosen the set screw [1] with a hexagon bit [+]
►Remove ESD brush [2]

Notice

Avoid damage due to the use of aggressive substances

The guide rollers and the mover housing can be damaged if aggressive substances are used. Apply detergent to a clean, lint-free cloth. Never apply the cleaning agent directly to the components.

Unsuitable cleaning agents can damage the components and considerably reduce the service life of the guide rollers.

For heavy soiling, cleaning agent can be applied to a clean, lint-free cloth. Isopropanol cleaning agent can be used for cleaning.

►Clean the mover housing with a damp cloth after removing the guide rollers and the ESD brush
