Mode

This interface defines the mode in which direction-based limiting is performed. The interface works as a selection function that is activated by setting one of the properties. The previously set choice is automatically reset.

Syntax:

INTERFACE I_LimitingMode

Description

Adaptive

BOOL

Get, Set

The direction of the limit takes into account the set acceleration of the axis.

DirectionalFixed

BOOL

Get, Set

The directional application is performed statically in the intended direction of travel.

NonDirectional

BOOL

Get, Set

Direction is not taken into account.

Dynamically adaptive (Adaptive):

The limit adjusts to the current dynamics. When accelerating or traveling at a constant speed, the directional limit is applied in the specified direction. In the event of a deceleration, the directional restriction is also applied in the opposite direction.

Mode 2:

Directional (DirectionalFixed):

The restriction applies only to the direction of travel.

Mode 3:

Direction-independent (NonDirectional):

Directions are not taken into account and are always applied simultaneously.
