Installation
The TF8550 Plastic HMI Framework can be installed under TwinCAT 4026 via the TwinCAT Package Manager. A separate workload is available for this purpose.

Integration into TwinCAT HMI Project
- 1. Beckhoff.TwinCAT.HMI.Plastic packages are available in the Beckhoff Offline Packages Repository, configured in the NuGet package management.
Check for more information about NuGet package management in TwinCAT HMI projects. - 2. Install the Beckhoff.TwinCAT.HMI.Plastic package to include all Plastic packages available or pick the sub-packages (e.g. Beckhoff.TwinCAT.HMI.Plastic.Controls) you want to use.
- Once the package is installed, all controls, function and other resources (dependent on your decision in step 2) will be available in your project.
Install and locate v12 packages
- You require a (separate) TwinCAT 4026 System with the TwinCAT Package Manager installed, e.g. in a virtual machine.
- The Beckhoff Outdated Feed needs to be configured. In case you use the TcPkg UI, you also need to select the Outdated Feed and the Package view.
- 1. Install the
TwinCAT.HMI.Plasticpackage in the v12 version you need. - 2. After the installation, open the file explorer to access the filesystem.
- 3. Navigate to the installation path of the NuGet-Packages:
C:\ProgramData\Beckhoff\NuGetPackages\ - 4. Select the packages that you just downloaded in step 1 and move/cope them to your TcHMI v12 engineering system.
- 5. Reference the directory with the moved/copied Nuget Packages in the Visual Studio Nuget Manager via the Package sources.
- You’ve successfully configured the packages for your TwinCAT HMI v12 installation.
