Fundamentals

The fundamental components are extracted from the measured voltage and current curves and describe the sinusoidal component at the grid frequency. The component at the fundamental frequency is determined via a sliding time window. A discrete Fourier transformation is used to determine the fundamental oscillation. The time window is based on the current grid frequency, which is determined using a PLL method (see also Frequency and Effectives).

The measured values are provided via the STcPowerMeasureFundamental structure.
