Thumbnail
The attributes and functions explained on this page can be found in the category Thumbnail.
The thumbnail indicates which section of the image is visible in the control. It is closely related to the View of the image (see read-only property View
in the View category), but differs in some respects.
Whether the thumbnail is visible is determined by the ThumbnailVisbile
property. Its general position and size is determined by the properties ThumbnailPosition
and ThumbnailSize
and is always square. If the aspect ratio of the image is not 1:1, the thumbnail size is the full width of the image, while the height is adjusted to the aspect ratio.
When the entire image frame is covered with the image, the thumbnail display is virtually identical to the read-only property View
. Otherwise, it differs in that areas outside the image are included in the View
but not in the thumbnail.
