Device configuration

You can configure various device settings in properties.

Set authentication options

In the configurator, you can choose between two authentication options: "none" and "password". If you select "password", another entry appears with a default password that is generated during automatic code generation. The password cannot be set in the configurator, as IEC 61850 does not provide for the password to be saved in the ICD file. Displaying the default password only serves to improve traceability in the automatically generated code.

Set communication parameters

You can set the IP address of the device in the communication parameters.
