Overview

The product TF6300 TC3 FTP Client enables the transfer of files between the PLC controller and a server based on the FTP and SFTP protocol. Various functions are available to enable the efficient exchange of files. The use cases for uploading or downloading files can be diverse, ranging from the transfer of stored log files to the exchange of recipe data.

A PLC library supports the programmer in establishing the connection, as well as all other file or directory operations. Any server application that supports the FTP or SFTP protocol can be used as a remote terminal.
