Overview
The function TF6281 is an EtherNet/IP™ scanner or master. Here you can connect EtherNet/IP™ slaves.
TF6281 is a software extension that turns an Ethernet interface with Intel® chipset into an EtherNet/IP™ scanner. The real-time driver for the Ethernet interface must be installed for this purpose. The driver is part of the TwinCAT system. This driver is pre-installed on Beckhoff IPCs and can be used on almost all hardware platforms with Intel® Ethernet chipset. If you are using a third-party PC, you may need to check or install it.
