TcCOM Objects

All TcCOM objects in the project are listed in the SYSTEM > TcCOM Objects node under the Project Objects tab. Among other things, an MC3 axis or a cam plate object in MC3 corresponds to a TcCOM object.

In the Version column, you can see the version of each object. For new projects, the object versions are automatically set to the latest version; no user action is required. If a project created with an older software version is to be migrated to a newer version, the setting can be configured here. Alternatively, the version can be set using the Motion Versioning extension.

Different versions of hierarchical objects Different versions between child objects and their parent object can cause errors when activating the project. Make sure that the same version is set and active for the parent context element and all child Motion Control objects.
