Description
Geometric feed adaptation is used to calculate a factor for wire erosion to ensure constant surface removal.
The calculations are based on a cyclically corrected radius centre point path. The tool radius consists of the actual tool radius and an additional parameter, i.e. the gap value.
Corrected path positions are cyclically supplied to the TcCOM object.
The additional parameters required can be transferred by the PLC. The parameters can also be defined in the NC program.
The result of the calculations is a factor that is multiplied in the commanded feed rate.
