Overview
This chapter describes the MTP workload and the optional packages/workloads that you can use in the MTP context.
License description TE8400
Functional restriction without license:
- MTP export without OPC UA informations
- No consideration of services for human-machine interface generation of third-party modules
Workload TE8400 | TwinCAT3 MTP Engineering
The TE8400 workload has the following package dependencies:
- TwinCAT.XAE.MTP (MTP Engineering)
- TwinCAT.XAE.PLC.Lib.Tc3_MTP (MTP Runtime)
- TwinCAT.HMI.PI.ProcessLibrary
- TwinCAT.Standard.XAE
- TE2000.HMIEngineering.XAE
These packages/workloads are also installed if they are not already present.
Other workloads that may be required (engineering)
- TF6100.OpcUaConfigurator.XAE
- Initialization and configuration of the OPC UA server
- TF4100.ControllerToolbox.XAE
- Targeted update of the Controller Toolbox
- TE1300.ScopeViewProfessional.XAE
- Creating scope projects (if necessary for referencing in HMI)
