Troubleshooting

Behavior	Description
The configuration cannot be exported to the TwinCAT OPC UA Server. The log shows an error “Export failed. Reason: ...".	Please make sure that you have write access to the TwinCAT OPC UA Server installation directory. If the TwinCAT OPC UA Server has been installed to the %ProgramFiles% directory, please make sure to start the TwinCAT OPC UA Nodeset Editor as Administrator using the “Run As Administrator” option.
I have exported my configuration to the TwinCAT OPC UA Server, but my nodes are not visible in the server address space.	Please make sure that you have restarted the server after the export. This is the only way for the server to process the new configuration. If the behavior persists, please make sure that you have configured the correct installation path for the TwinCAT OPC UA Server in the Application settings. On a 32 bit system, the Win32 installation directory is used, while on a 64 bit system, the Win64 directory is used to run the TcOpcUaServer.exe file. You can also double-check which directory used via the Windows Task Manager by navigating to the TcOpcUaServer process and selecting Open file location from the context menu.
