Changing the Configuration at Runtime

The configuration of the remote server can be changed at runtime. This makes it possible, for example, to log on to the remote server with another user and thus obtain different access rights to the symbols of the remote server. Access at runtime is via the Config symbol of the TwinCAT HMI server. Under the Config symbol you will find the configuration of the remote server, which contains the same options as the configuration page of the server.

When mapping the symbols, the domain must be specified (e.g. MyRemoteServer). The symbols can then be described and read in the Actions and Conditions editor.
