Symbol level

The symbol level represents the first part of the server-side permissions system. General and user group-specific access methods, which apply when authentication is active, can be configured for every mapped server symbol (Mapped Symbols). The configuration is done via the Permissions Management editor, which can be called via the TwinCAT HMI Configuration window (Configuring symbol access).
